Catalyst Investment Management was founded in 2006 with the vision of spearheading climate action in the MENA region.

Based in Jordan, we are the first MENA region fund manager specializing in renewable energy and energy efficiency with a proven track record of investment in solar PV.

Operating in Jordan since 2006, Catalyst is the first MENA region fund manager specializing in climate infrastructure. Catalyst has built extensive networks for proprietary deal origination and co-investment, a deep pipeline of projects, strong global and regional strategic relationships, a multidisciplinary and complementary team and demonstrated the ability to execute transactions, enhance portfolio performance and exit investments successfully.
SEVENTEEN-YEAR TEAM TRACK RECORD
Catalyst has seventeen years of investment experience in the MENA region and was one of the first sponsors of a solar PV IPP project, developing a 23 MW project in 2014 and completing one of the first regional non-recourse PV project financings for it in 2015. Most of Catalyst’s core team have worked together for over seventeen years building on the experience of predecessor Catalyst funds in the MENA region. These have deployed over $70 million equity (with over $170 million of debt) into solar projects.
